non-profit organization. We operate under the non-profit 501(c)(3) of River City
Church. We depend on donations to keep the electricity and water running as well
as to keep the clinic supplied for regular use. Any donations even $10 would make
a difference. Some of the regular items we need include paper for the exam
tables, gloves, copier paper and pens. Our long term goals include buying an EKG
machine, expanding clinic hours, funding one part-time staff person to act as a
clinic coordinator so Dr. Box's time can be freed up to do medical care instead of
administrative duties. If you would like to fund a particular item or if you have

Many people are doing without medical care during this economic recession. It is
very expensive and frustrating for those who do not have health insurance to
maintain treatment for disease as simple as high blood pressure or diabetes. Many
have been using emergency rooms as a last resort to try to treat their chronic
medical conditions. Our goal is to prevent people from having to use the
emergency room and to provide stable primary care. We encourage patients to
find health insurance when at all possible.
